Manuela and Kristian chose Villa Biber, located just outside Opatija, as the place for their wedding preparations. This modern villa on a hillside, overlooking the Kvarner Bay and the islands of Krk and Cres, was the ideal choice for an intimate and relaxed shoot. Capturing the bride and her bridesmaids in such a setting was a true delight. The wedding photographer focused on spontaneous moments, as the girls exchanged laughter and memories from the bachelorette party.
Preparations and Emotions
The preparation of the bride and groom is often the most emotional part of the day, and capturing these moments requires a special approach. The camera must be almost invisible, yet present at every moment. At Manuela and Kristian’s wedding, the bride was supported by her bridesmaids, who were with her throughout the morning. After the ceremony, we stepped onto the riva in Opatija, just behind the church, where the natural beauty perfectly complemented Manuela and Kristian's love story. The sea was calm, and a gentle breeze carried the scent of salt as the couple enjoyed a brief moment of relaxation after the ceremony. They were completely at ease and filled with happiness, which was evident in every step they took. As they strolled along the riva, the sun slowly began to set, and I captured those spontaneous moments – their laughter, embraces, and looks full of love

The celebration continued at the luxurious Grand Hotelu AdriaticFrom the moment we entered, joy and excitement filled the air. The hall was elegantly decorated, and the atmosphere was warm and cheerful. Manuela and Kristian were the center of attention, enjoying every moment with their family and friends. As a wedding photographer, it's especially important for me to capture those spontaneous, emotion-filled moments. Their first dance was magical, as everyone watched with smiles, listening to the music and soaking in the enchanting ambiance.
As the evening progressed, the atmosphere became more lively – laughter, dancing, and celebration filled the room. Photographing this wedding celebration gave me the opportunity to capture every precious moment. As the couple celebrated their special day surrounded by family and friends, my role as their wedding photographer was to ensure every genuine smile and every significant moment was captured.
The wedding cake and fireworks by the sea
The highlight of the evening was when Manuela and Kristian brought out the wedding cake in front of their guests. The excitement was palpable as they cut the cake together, cheered on by applause.
